Although I am not officially a Deaton yet (less than two months until the big day!), I decided to create the blog before the wedding to keep everyone informed of our new home and final wedding plans! John and I bought our first home and are so excited about getting it all ready! We've been very busy cleaning, painting, and working in the yard. Thanks to the help of both of our families, we have made a lot of progress! We got the keys to our home at the end of February. We're slowly acquiring furniture and other things for the home; John plans to move in soon and I will move in once we get back from our honeymoon in Disney World! More to come as we make more progress with the house!
