John's Bday and More

 For John's 29th birthday we went to Chicago's Pizza

for lunch to keep up with our tradition.

JJ had a lot of fun eating pizza and breadsticks

with his Daddy!

JJ really liked Daddy's birthday cake too!

JJ's been very busy playing with his new car ball pit,

although Violet has already eaten all of the balls,

so it's just a car now!

JJ loves all of his new puzzles:

His kitchen set has been keeping him very busy.

He loves the coffee pot, the k-cups for the coffee,

and the boiling pot on the stove.

JJ is really good at making music with the different instruments!

JJ loves his new pajamas and books!

 He's been spending a lot of time with his new trains:

 I love these little place mats that come 

with the kids' meals at Chick-fil-a!

 He finally decided that his new Elmo slippers weren't

scary and decided to wear them!

Christmas Day

We had a really fun Christmas!

JJ was very excited about all of his new toys!

He loves stuffing things in this mountain tunnel.

This Eric Carle book is so cute.

It has a little magnifying glass to look for bugs!

We set up the new train table in JJ's room:

John's parents got JJ this transportation rug

which he thinks is pretty cool!

JJ really loves the rocks from his train table set.

He wanted to eat breakfast with them:

On Christmas Day we went to my parents' house 

to open presents and have dinner.

JJ was very excited about his new kitchen set!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, we went to church with my family.

 After church we went back to my parents' house

for a little bit to hang out and have some snacks.

 JJ opened a few presents from my parents 

that night too:

 He loves his new keyboard and was very excited

about his Thomas fork and spoon!

 Then we went over to John's parents house for 

dinner and to open presents:

 JJ and Jackson had a lot of fun opening

all of their gifts!
