Shrinking Violet!

Violet does not want to grow up! 

She has weighed 25 pounds for a few months now!

She got up to 30 pounds for a week and now is about 27 pounds!

She's supposed to weigh 40-50 lbs

so she might just be a mini bully!

A New Pet!

I got a red betta fish for our class pet at school!

The kids voted and named him Swimmy!

I love that book so I was pretty pleased with the name.

The top three contenders for names chosen by the students

were Gilbert, Lava, and Swimmy, but Swimmy won!

Busy with School

I have been busy posting many things lately but they have not been on this blog!  I am going back to school at IUPUI for my Masters in Elementary Education with a Focus in Technology.  Going to school as a student in addition to going to school as a teacher has been keeping me very busy!  I have created a blog for my classroom and a blog for my students' writing.  I also have a blog for professional resources!  If you'd like to see what's going on in my classroom you can check it out:
