Wild Man!

JJ is a wild man!

He is really hard to keep up with out at the store!

He does not want to be confined in the cart or stroller

and likes to run all over the place!

Today he kept wanting to climb up on the displays

and hold hands with the mannequins at the store.

His bed head is so hard to tame!!

I'm going to have to keep his hair really short 

in order to win that battle!

 He still loves cars and trains!

 This is his hiding spot when he doesn't want to get dressed:

JJ loves to brush his teeth!

My mom said he likes to multi-task and sweep

the floor while he cleans his teeth!

 I was doing some exercises the other day and

John caught JJ trying to work out with mommy:

 We went to our church festival this weekend.

JJ rode the carousel and shared

and ice cream cone with mommy.

JJ is communicating and talking so much!

He loves making the "yuck" sound and 

throwing things in the trash

(we're still learning what things are actually trash).

He's identifying so many things!

When we go to the store, he seems to recognize a lot of

things that we have read about in books.

The other night I was on the phone with my sister

and told her we were getting ready to go for a walk,

and JJ said, "Yeah!  A walk!" 

Which I think counts as his first official sentence.

 JJ still loves giving hugs and kisses!

You have to watch him though because he's been experimenting 

with biting and will sometimes pretend a bite is a hug.

 My mom got JJ this cute little Thomas cup:

 JJ's new favorite expression is making this surprised or shocked face.

It's too funny!  He'll keep it on for a long time.

He was being silly in the dr.'s office the other day 

while we were waiting to get his shots.

He's still over 95% for height and weight.

JJ weighs 33lb 4 oz and is 35.5 in.

 JJ loves trying to hook buckles together!

 JJ loves his baseball bats!

JJ found some of his old baby things in the guest room closet

and was very interested in them:

18 Weeks

I am 18 weeks!

I went to the dr. today.

The heartbeat was 141. 

My ultrasound is October 11th. 

Can't wait to find out boy or girl!

Apple Works

We went to Apple Works today with my parents,

Andy, Julie, Natalie, Eric, and Alex.

It was a beautiful day, and everyone

seemed to have a lot of fun!

The kids liked the goats.

JJ's favorite seemed to be the cow.

He kept mooing!

 JJ and Grandpa liked watching 

Natalie and Eric come down the slide:

 JJ went for a pony ride!

He started trying to get down after awhile,

but he stayed on for a little bit!

 JJ loved the yummy food we ate while we were there!

JJ and Alex hung out together while waiting for the train ride.

JJ and Alex rode the train with Grandma and Grandpa!

JJ kept wanting to ride it again!

He kept following the train around and saying, choo choo!"

He loves Thomas the Train right now.

 JJ loves rocks! 

He liked picking them up and putting 

them in the trash can or a baggie!

He also had fun giving Daddy a nature tour.
