The previous owners closed off our fireplace
and sealed the opening with boards that they tiled over.
They put a garage space heater in the center of the tile.
Fixing up the fireplace has been on our list
and we are currently handling the disaster right now.
I can't wait to have it all fixed and ready to go!
We found where the squirrels have been nesting.
There were all sorts of walnuts behind the board.
Yuck!!
This is unfortunately what it looks like now.
We're waiting for a new firebox, gas logs, and glass doors.
I'll post pictures when the project is complete!
