Happy Birthday to Me!

My mom gave me a few birthday surprises on Saturday,
including my new favorite things: York Peppermint Patties!
The Valentine's ones are the best because
they are shaped like hearts
and have a light pink center!
John got me a new food processor for my birthday.
I am excited to try to make new things!
I made salsa this week which turned out very yummy!
Next weekend, we are getting together
in Cincinnati to celebrate my birthday and
Natalie Ann's bday. She's going to be 5!

Yankee Mania

John absolutely loves the Yankees, and I have
become quite the fan myself after watching
so many games together!
We plan to see two games while we are in
California, and this year, during inter-league play,
the Yankees also play the Cubs and the Reds.
We saw the Yankees play the Reds 8 years ago when John
graduated from high school, so we are excited to see them again!
It looks like we're going to see a lot of baseball this summer!

California Adventure!

California here we come!
John and I booked a California adventure for this summer!
This year we will be married for two years, but we will
also have been together for 10 years so we decided to celebrate!
We fly into San Francisco and will be there for 4 days.
We will see the Yankees play the Oakland A's and sight see.

Then, we will drive from San Francisco to Anaheim to
go to Disneyland and see the Yankees play the Angels.

On the last part of our trip, we will drive to San Diego to
go to the San Diego Zoo, sight see, and relax!
We can't wait!

Violet's Cone

I couldn't resist taking pictures of Violet
in her silly cone the past few days.
She gets her cone and off and stitches out tomorrow!
Her eyes have healed very nicely!
She is in major need of a bath!!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we went to mass
with my parents, Rachel, & Nick.
After church we went back to my parents'
house to open presents.
Then we went to dinner with John's family
and ended the evening opening presents
at John's parents' house.
