Fun with Daddy

JJ loves being entertained.  

He cracks up at funny sounds and loves

everything that John says and does:

6 Weeks

JJ is 6 weeks old!

He finally took a bottle for the first time:

 JJ has been very alert and active.

He's been making lots of eye contact, smiling, and cooing!

 He still enjoys snoozing and snuggling:

 Violet has gotten used to her new roommate

and stays out of trouble (most of the time).

JJ has recently become more skilled

at sucking on his hands and fingers

and really enjoys tummy time 

(in limited quantities).

When I was in labor, this song came on Pandora and

made me cry and so excited to hold him:

5 Weeks

JJ is 5 weeks old!

He's been on many walks in his stroller,

but last night we tried out the baby carrier.

He snoozed the whole way! 

He seemed to really like snuggling close while moving.

 He's been very alert and busy lately!

I am so happy with JJ's newborn pics!

We are using the same photographer

for his milestone pictures during

his first year so I'm excited

to see how those turn out as well.

Danielle's Bridal Shower

My friend Danielle is getting married in June,

and last weekend we went to her bridal shower.

We drove to Jasper for JJ's first road trip!

It was so great to see Kim & Danielle!
