9 Months

Olivia Rose is 9 months old!

She loves crawling, cruising,

snuggling, smiling, 

being tickled, and laughing.

She loves watching Daddy, JJ,

and Violet run around.

Olivia is getting very good at

self feeding small pieces.

She does well with pureed food

but the thicker textures 

still cause her to gag

(until she gets sick!)

Oatmeal baby cereal does not

agree with her tummy.

She loves her sippy and straw

cups with water.

She always gets her shirt

soaked!

Olivia seems to have a radar for 

trouble.  She's always trying to eat

paper, plastic, stickers, crayons, shoes, and

anything else she shouldn't have!

We finally relocated this chair

because she seemed determined to

hit her head on this table!

I've been having fun doing different

hair styles on her sweet baby hair.

We tried pig tails the other day.

Not quite long enough, but almost!

Olivia does not associate a paci with

sleep/comfort, but she likes to use

it like a teether.

I definitely wish she would take a paci to

go to sleep!  She's still going down 

around 9:00/10:00 p.m.

and getting up around 1:00 a.m. 

and then again around 5:00 a.m.

She usually goes back down 

until 8:00/9:00 a.m.

Thankfully she's finally started

letting me rock her because

she's too heavy to walk around

anymore!  She used to fight

being rocked but now 

she gives into it.

She's been spending a lot of time 

in her comfy pj's so she can

stay warm and snuggly!

 She was giving the sweetest smiles 

the other night before her bath and got 

very serious when we got out the camera.

 I love her sweet baby cheeks!

She goes for her 9 month check-up

next week so we'll have to see how

much she's grown!
