Spring Break

I have been so glad to have these two
weeks at home with my babies!
Spring Break has not been the sick-free,
relaxing time I'd been hoping for though.
JJ had pink eye and an ear infection the week
before spring break.  He gave pink eye to me
last weekend, he got pink eye back again
from me, and then one of us gave
it to Olivia!
Once our eyes cleared up
they both started getting
runny noses and a cough.
Olivia has an ear infection now.
She's also cutting her two top
one year molars and they seem
to be really bothering her.
She's been drooling like crazy!
JJ loves this little photo album
that we have of Violet's puppy pictures.
He likes "reading" this book to Olivia:
We've had a few days of nice weather,
but for the most part we've been inside
because of cold weather/sickness.
JJ had fun trying out his new
Paw Patrol roller skates
he got for his birthday.
 These two both love
this glove chair:
I scheduled a dentist and doctor
appointment during spring break
so the babies were able to
play together for a
little while at Nana's.
JJ loved his special name cake
pop from his birthday party:
I took JJ to preschool story time at the library.
He's no longer in Terrific Twos!
The preschool story time is an
hour long, has a theme, and a craft.
I was wanting to take Olivia
to her first Wonderful Ones class,
but she's been too sick!
 JJ loves to feed Sissy:
JJ loves shopping in the sporting goods aisle!
Since Olivia is a night owl and JJ
is an early bird, I get some special
time with Olivia at night
and JJ in the morning.
JJ loves to check on Sissy on the monitor:
Olivia is in a routine of hanging out
with Mommy and Daddy in our room
after JJ goes to bed.  This is going
to be a hard habit to break!
Snuggling Daddy because her ears and new molars hurt
I love this rosy cheeks baby!
JJ and Olivia love to play
with the kitchen set.
Violet has packed on the pounds
this winter from JJ and Olivia
sneaking her snacks!
This little baby makes a kiss noise
and says, "I love you!"
Olivia really loves hugging and kissing
her babies (and people too!).
JJ has been working on sharing with
Olivia.  He wanted me to take a picture
of him giving her a block:
 Olivia loves mixing things.
She's doing the sign for bath,
all done, and more really well.
She loves giving kisses, waving,
and giving high fives.
She randomly repeats words.
The other day JJ got her to
say Elmo and we thought it was so funny!
Since being weaned (she still nurses at
bedtime) Olivia has become quite the snacker!
Olivia likes riding in shopping carts
and giving kisses!
She always waves really excitedly
when you come to get her out of her car seat.
Olivia likes to feed herself with a spoon.
We went over to play with
Ben and Aunt Rachel one day:
Olivia really liked the cottage:
JJ and Olivia like to play
camping and sleepover.
Now that JJ is very skilled at
dressing and undressing,
it is difficult to find a time
when he's not running around
in his underwear!
Olivia really likes making
the "vroom" sound when
playing with all of
JJ's cars and other toys.
Olivia thinks JJ's battle rover is
another ride on toy:
Olivia found a purse that she wanted
when we were out shopping the other
day.  She did not like it when we
put it back on the shelf!
In addition to the other sicknesses
we've had during spring break,
Olivia broke out in hives
over the weekend.
We think it was a reaction to a
switch in laundry detergent, but
we were not able to pinpoint
it exactly.
They kept reappearing on Saturday,
Sunday, and Monday night.
Hopefully they're gone for good!
Between the hives, pink eye, ear infection
and two molars coming in Olivia
has not had the best Spring Break!
Olivia really likes apples for a snack!
Olivia loves putting things in and out
of her grocery cart!
